Friends are important in our lives. Sometimes the ones we have we don't always fully appreciate. But I have one friend who I'll always love and cherish.
My very special friend
I have a very special friend who is always near by.
She is there to comfort me when life makes me cry.
She never goes far, I reach out and she's there,
To hug me and tell me that she'll always care.
She understands so completely, no need to explain,
And when I am hurting, she feels my pain.
Without her my life would be empty and lost.
Of all my friends, I need her the most.
How she chose me, I can't understand.
Somewhere there must be a beautiful plan.
For with her in my life, I will never be alone.
She is the most beautiful person I have ever known.
I love her sweet smile and soft tender touch.
She fills my life with joy, I need her so much.
Sometimes it seems we share the same body and soul.
And without her, my life could never be whole.
Then I hear her voice like an angel as she speaks softly to me.
"I am the girl inside you and I shall always be
your friend and companion. So please don't forget
to let me live and be free and you'll never regret,
that I chose you as my very special friend.
And our lives will be happy to the bitter-sweet end."
